Now it’s time to select your project and material. Laser engravers offer a seamless interface that allows you to load your design and adjust material-specific settings easily.
Select Your Design:
1. Click Projects > USB Disk: This option allows you to access your saved files from a USB disk. You can select your engraving design from here. Most laser engravers support common file types like JPEG, PNG, or SVG for vector graphics.
2. Preview the Design: Once you select the image, preview it on the software to ensure it’s the right size and shape for your cutting board.
Choose the Material:
1. Click Materials: This option enables you to select the material you’re working with (wood, bamboo, or other).
2. Select Engraving Material: From the list, choose the specific type of wood for your cutting board (e.g., Maple, Oak, Birch, etc.). This selection will automatically adjust engraving parameters like power, speed, and contrast.
With the material selected, the engraver can optimize settings for the best engraving results.
